National Waterfront Museum, Swansea

The project comprised major works to a Grade 2 Listed Building and its surrounds. The new museum now houses the National Industrial and Maritime Collection. Our works comprised the planting of semi-mature fastigiated Beech, clear stemmed Birch and specimen shrubs in addition to the creation of 25000m2 of turfed grassland. Our civil engineers undertook major hard landscaping works which comprised new drainage to the entire site, various paths using natural Welsh paving, including pennant, granite and slate, together with block paving works to the marina frontage and extensive surface dressing to new areas of macadam. A series of street furniture was also installed with stainless steel bollards, bins and benches among the many different forms. Our grounds maintenance division have now taken over the management of the grounds.
National Botanic Gardens of Wales
Client: National Botanic Gardens of Wales

The works consisted of the construction of paths using granite, pennant and slate natural stone, walkways using timber and other stone products and the formation of planting beds for use by the Gardens. In addition wide scale drainage and service infrastructures were renewed and seating and other ornamental features including the restoration of existing stone pools were constructed again from natural stone. A walled garden was also erected and semi mature limes were imported from Germany and planted.

A new office complex for the Oracle Corporation at Solihull, West Midlands. Landscaping consisted of the supply and planting of many varieties and forms of specimen shrubs and semi mature trees. The creation of a large pond with fountain, numerous rock features and car park paving.
